Complete Furniture Upholstery Service

From traditional hand-stitched techniques to contemporary fabric choices, re-upholstery extends the life of furniture and allows it to be customised to suit your individual taste while preserving its original character. A.J. Brett offers a full upholstery service including re-webbing and re-springing seats. Our skilled upholsterers carefully replace worn fabric, padding, and springs, using high-quality materials to achieve a flawless finish. We use traditional filling or, if appropriate, high quality foam in cushions or chair seats. If required, we can incorporate deep or floating buttons. There are various ways available to finish your seats, including piping, braid and upholstery nails in a wide range of styles and finishes.

Discover Our Fabric Library

Our upholsterers can work with materials you’ve sourced yourself. However, we also have an extensive fabric library available in our workshop, including a selection of braids and trimmings. You can choose from a variety of fabrics and leathers for your upholstery and re-upholstery projects, and we are happy to advise you on the suitability of materials for your specific piece of furniture.
